Hi! I'm Doreen, an events and operations leader based in Berlin, with 14+ years of experience building memorable experiences, high-performing teams, and the operational systems that make organizations run.
I'm a first-generation American and lifelong traveler. After living in New York for over 15 years with some breaks to study in Prague and travel through Nicaragua, Peru, Thailand, Cambodia and around Europe, a move to Berlin was a practical and exciting next chapter for our family.
I've always been drawn to places, people, and moments of connection. Events became the natural expression of that, but so has building the teams, systems, and structures that make organizations thrive.
My career has been defined by building things from scratch. I'm happiest when I'm handed a blank page and trusted to make something out of it, bringing order to complexity, holding the big picture and the finest details at the same time, and rallying a team of collaborators around a shared vision.
I’ve worked with organizations ranging from Google and the NFL to L'Oreal's luxury brands, producing conferences, summits, galas, activations and large cross-functional internal meetings.
On the operations side, I've built agency infrastructure from the ground up, establishing project management functions, growing creative teams, and streamlining how organizations work, including for mission-driven nonprofits in the health and financial wellness space.
